Albert Scarpelli

SCARPELLI, ALBERT A., age 78 of Centerville, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Rosanna (Fiorita). He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Dee (Bayus), children: Anthony of Grand Blanc, MI, Michael (Marianne) of Dayton, Gina of Otisville, MI and James (Michele) of Avon, OH, 12 grandchildren: David, Justin (Gretchen), Christine, Dominic, Vincent, Jordan, Victor, Gino, Grant, Andrea, Marco and Julia and 1 great- grandchild, Jacquilynn, brother, Joseph (Cettina) sister, Louisa (Phillip) Drety and brother-in-law, Stephen (Barbara) Bayus. He was a graduate of Chaminade High School 1952, University of Dayton 1956 and Xavier University 1967. Al worked at NCR, Chrysler Air Temp and GM retiring in 1997. He was a lifetime member of Sons of Italy Lodge 861 in Flint, MI. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 21st from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road, Kettering and again on Wednesday, August 22nd from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 6245 Wilmington Pike, Centerville. Cremation will take place after Mass with inurnment at a later date at Calvary Cemetery.
