Albert C. Wahle Jr

WAHLE, Jr., Albert C., age 79 of Kettering passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017 and with God’s help and Al’s strength his family was blessed to have him with them for more years than expected. He was born on July 20, 1938 in Covington, KY to the late, Albert C. Sr. and Helen (Plageman) Wahle. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Connie (Curran) Wahle; children, Bert (Debbie) Wahle of Pataskala, OH, Dennis (Elisabeth) Wahle of Kettering, Brenda (Pete) Kosir of Beavercreek, Elise (Chris) Sas of Tipp City, OH; grandchildren, Nick, Brent, Brianna, Nathan (Kay), Marissa, Emmalyn, Sonja, PJ, Frankie, Melanie and Danny; brother, John (Patti) Wahle of Mason, OH; sister, Mary Jo (Mark) Myers of Reynoldsburg, OH and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Al retired from the City of Kettering as Director of Planning and Development and enjoyed a second career for 20 years as professor and Chair of the Engineering Technology Design Department at Sinclair Community College. He was a life time member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30am on Friday, November 3 at Church of the Ascension. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, November 2 at The Westbrock Funeral Home, Kettering.
