Alec Sadauskas

Alec Edward Sadauskas, Age 26, of Chicago IL passed away in Chicago on Saturday, October 12, 2024.

Alec attended high school at Grant Community High School in Fox Lake, IL and finished his high school education at Purcell Marian High School in Cincinnati, OH.

Alec worked at the Fox Lake Golf Course and Moretti's Pizza in Fox Lake. He delivered pizzas, groceries and charged Bird scooters during his time in Cincinnati.

Alec was known for his kind heart and his giving spirit. He loved all things nature including Fox Lake, fishing, jet skiing and his favorite sport was tubing! He had a dry and very intelligent sense of humor. He had a mischievous streak...one example is when he let his two labrador retrievers out into the muddy yard, (accidentally?) while prom pictures were underway. Alec was in pursuit of a Grant High School Athletic award called the Loffredo Award - given to athletes who participate in athletic teams all three seasons and all 4 years of their high school career. Alec was on track for this award when he moved to Cincinnati the spring of his Junior year.

Alec is survived by his father, Ed Sadauskas; his mother and step-father, Julie and Chip Clark; his brother, Joe Sadauskas and fiancé, Abby Valek; and step brothers, Chase and Logan Clark. Alec's grandparents, Ted and Rose Link of Centerville, OH; and Leonard and Marilyn Sadauskas of Arlington, VA. Alec's aunts and uncles, Ted and Therese Link; Linda Groover and fiancé Paul Osterfeld; Mike Link; Pat and Birute Vanatta; and Brent and Rachel Sadauskas. Cousins Teddy Link III and wife Rachel; Matthew Link, Ian Groover, Sophie Groover, Ella Claire Sadauskas and Jonas Sadauskas.

Visitation services will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024 from 4-6pm at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road, Kettering, OH 45440.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Charles Catholic Church at 10:30 am on Monday, October 21, 2024. Lunch at Geez Grill and Pub immediately following Mass.

Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 2:00 pm.
