CRAMER, ALFRED B., age 93 passed away Monday, May 27, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margarite E. Cramer whom he married in 1946; son-in-law, Geoff McKinney; sister, Viola Shell and brothers: Paul and Richard Cramer. Alfred is survived by his daughters: Ann McKinney and Jane (Dan) Unger; sons: Frederick (Jeannie) Cramer, Eugene (Karen) Cramer and Michael (Linda) Cramer; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sisters: Beatrice Clouse and Ruth Weir and brothers: George "Mike" (Norma Jean) Cramer and Willard "Jim" (Mary Jo) Cramer. Alfred was an Army Veteran serving in WWII in the Army Corp of Engineers 713. He was a member of the K of C 10215 for 75 years, Eagles for 40 years and the American Legion. Alfred retired from DESC in 1980 and was involved in their retirement club. He enjoyed gardening, loved to dance and play cards and was a big fan of the Cincinnati Reds. Visitation will be held Friday, May 31st from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd, Kettering. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 1st at Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Drive, Kettering. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to St. Leonard's Benevolent Fund or Church of the Ascension.
