Alfrieda L. Streit

STREIT, ALFRIEDA L., age 98 of Beavercreek passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emery Streit; son, James Streit and brothers: Sylvester Mader, Alfred Mader and Eugene Mader. Alfrieda is survived by her loving children: Kathryn (George) McGowan, Alan (Bonnie) Streit, Carol (Eric) Sears and Randy (Karen) Streit; daughter-in-law, Ellie Streit; 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She is also survived by her sisters: Agnes Hall and Viola Higgins and brother, Ed Mader. Alfrieda was a volunteer at the Corner Cupboard for 25 years. We were so blessed to have her for so many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother and will be deeply missed. The family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice for all of their care and compassion. Visitation will be Sunday, January 4th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave., Dayton. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 5th at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 820 Bowen Street, Dayton. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
