Alice Faye Trimble Wick
A woman of great dignity, grace and tremendous courage passed away Friday, October 3rd, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. Alice cherished her husband of 48 years, Dennis Robert, son Damon Eric, daughter Aeryn Lynne & their respective families. On July 13, 1946, Alice ‘Ali’ was born in South Portsmouth, Kentucky to Hazel & Neville Trimble. She was the youngest of their four children, Neville, Lowell & Mona. Educated in South Portsmouth schools, she later attended Morehead State University, where she met Dennis, the love of her life. They were blessed with their two children & four wonderful grandchildren, Samantha Bernice Wick, Eric Joseph Wick, Raefel Wick Sanner, and Kyle Robert Wick. There was no greater love than she had for these four children. The same feelings of love was rendered to their ‘'Bebe’’. Alice spent more than 40 years as a good citizen of Bellbrook, Ohio. School activities, sport and music events, and the Sugar Maple Festival were all important to her. She was also a member of several book clubs, as she was an avid reader. During her working years she spent time at General Motors, Bellbrook Police Department, NCR, Bellbrook Rehabilitation Center, and Primed Medical. Words that immediately bring Alice to mind include: kindness, courage, strength, and most importantly, acceptance. Ali's generous, welcoming and loving spirit will be missed by a gaggle of friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Ali's honor to Hospice of Dayton. The family of Alice Wick invites all aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends to join us at Beavercreek Golf Club between the hours of 5:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, October, 9th. Beavercreek Golf is located at 2800 New Germany Trebein Road. Please come and share memories of times spent with Ali.
