Andrew "Andy" Robert Fanz III

Andrew “Andy” Robert Fanz III, age 60 of Kettering, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2023. Andy graduated from Fairmont West High School in 1981, and he took great pride in his time as a radio DJ and his many years as an IT support professional. He was raised at St. Charles Borromeo Parish, attended Ascension Catholic Church as an adult, and finally returned to St. Charles when caring for his mother. Andy loved hiking, photography, cooking, and cheering on the Buckeyes and Cowboys, leaving many cherished memories with his daughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Beverly and Andrew Fanz, his sister, Terry Albertson, and his aunt, Patty Coombs. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Amanda (Brayden) Osborne; his sisters, Mary (David) Stanbery, Beverly Fanz, Judy (Jeff) Willin, Helen (Joe) LeVay; his brother-in-law, Curt Albertson; his former wife, Tammy Fanz; and many dear nieces and nephews.


Friends and family may visit from 10-10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at St Charles Borromeo Parish followed by Mass of Christian Burial. Calvary Cemetery will be his final place of rest.
