Ann Alexia Hickey

Ann Alexia Hickey, 96, of Kettering Ohio died Tuesday January 16, 2018. She was born February 19, 1921 in Minster, Ohio to the late Anthony and Anna (Hemmelgarn) Knapke. On April 29, 1950 she Married John Hickey who died October 8, 2000.
Survivors include her son Larry, ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and daughters-in-law Ursula Stehle, Deborah Seigel and Charlotte Boyle. She is preceded in death by sons Thomas, Patrick and Mark; grandson Shawn and siblings: Beata Muhlenkamp, Joan Knapke, Fr. Paul Knapke, Prisca Liskowiak, Marie Smith, Luke Knapke, Lorena Knapke, Anthony Knapke, Betty Goetz, and Thomas Knapke.
Ann was a graduate of Minster High School. After completing business school training she worked for nine years as an executive assistant for Dayton Power and Light before raising her family.
Friends and family may visit from 4:00-8:00 pm on Monday, January 22 at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd. Kettering. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:00 pm at St. Albert the Great on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
