Annabelle Lewis R.N.

Annabelle Lewis R.N., age 80, passed away early Monday Morning March 9th, 2015 in Kettering, Ohio. Ann grew up in Arnold, Pennsylvania and graduated from Arnold High School. In 1956, she received her nursing degree from West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Ann married Augustus Lewis in 1958. She worked at the V.A. Hospital in Dayton, Ohio and for the next twenty years, worked in hospitals and physician’s offices until her retirement in 1978.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Ferguson and Florence Lambie, and her husband Dr. Augustus Lewis. She is survived by her four sons; Douglas (Joy), Craig (Janet), Scott, and Brian (Melissa) as well as her grandchildren; Elizabeth, Dirk, Brianna, Karissa and Brandi (Pete) Jones.
Ann was a devout Christian and a faithful member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Kettering, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 12 at the Westbrock Funeral Home at 5980 Bigger Rd. in Kettering, Ohio. The viewing will be held from 6-8 P.M. with the funeral immediately following.
