LAIR, Anthony Rader age 83 of Dayton passed away Saturday October 13, 2012. Anthony was a practicing Attorney for over 50 years and a founding member of the Dayton Racquet Club. He was a member of the American Judicature Society, Honorary Member of the Dayton Bar Association, Lawyers Club and the American Bar Association. He was a member of the St. Elizabeth Hospital Foundation, the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation and Xavier University Advisory Board. He was on the Incarnation Founding Parish Council, the Centerville Village Attorney, a Korean War Veteran, an Officer and Director of many local private organizations. He was born in 1929, the only child of Margaret Rader Lair and Joseph Louis Lair. He was graduated from Chaminade High School, Class of 1947 and Xavier University in 1951. He was graduated from Ohio Northern School of Law and admitted to practice in 1954. He received his Doctor of Juris Prudence Degree in 1967. Anthony is survived by his wife, Shirley S. Lair and 5 children, Elizabeth Ann (Hoffman), Andrew G. Lair (Ann), Suzanne Margaret (Carney), Anthony C. Lair (Carey) and Nicholas Joseph Lair (Brydgett). He is also survived by 16 handsome, beautiful and smart grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 AM Thursday, October 18 at St. Charles Borromeo Church. The family will receive friends Thursday from 9:30-10:30 AM at the church. Burial, Calvary Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton, envelopes will be available at the church.
