Arlette Louise Fritts

FRITTS, Arlette Louise, passed away on January 7, 2021, at the age of 82. Originally from the Chicago area she and her beloved husband, David H. and their son, David A. came to Dayton in 1961. Their first residence was in Xenia, where Daniel was born, moved to Fairborn then Huber Heights, Kettering, Oakwood, Beavercreek, Sugar Creek and finally Kettering making many friends along the way. Their daughter, Michele, was born while living in Kettering. She was a physically active person, played baseball as a youth where she got the nickname “Mickey” from Mickey Mantle which stuck with her for the rest of her life, an accomplished sailor, she competed nationally, and she enjoyed playing racket ball. For many years her and David enjoyed playing pinochle with family and friends. She and her family were long time members of Concordia Lutheran Church where she was active on several committees. After raising her children, she graduated from Sinclair with honors. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, three children, David A. Fritts (Stephanie Eden), Daniel M. Fritts and Michele (Kenneth) LaVoy, two grandchildren, Natalie and Zachary Fritts, a great-grandchild, Abbigalle Moore and close friends. We were all blessed by her love for us. Services will be private. Memorial donations to the Food Bank or the Alzheimer’s Assoc., would be appreciated by all.
