Arthur J. Cetone Sr.

Cetone, Arthur J., Sr. “Bud”, age 88 of Washington Township passed away Monday February 3, 2014. Arthur was an Army veteran of WWII in the Merchant Marines and Army. He was also a member of the OEA, NEA, KCTA, VFW 9927 and a teacher for over 40 years; 35 with Kettering Schools, primarily 4th grade at the Orchard Park School. He is survived by his loving wife, JoAnne; His mother, Alice; three daughters, Mary Lou (George) Marcus, Cheryl (Gary) Miller, Nancy (John) Ianni; three sons, Stephen J. (Analia), John M. (Susan), Arthur Joseph Jr.; two sisters, Virginia (Frank) Seer, Jeanie (Clarence) Applegate; fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 am Friday February 7 at St. Charles Borromeo Church. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 am Friday at the church. Burial, Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Dayton or the Alzheimer’s Association, envelopes available at the church.
