Arthur J. "Art" Santoianni

SANTOIANNI, Arthur J., age 94 of Centerville, Ohio passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016. He was born on October 6, 1921 in Corona, NY to the late Donato and Sophie (Delmonte) Santoianni. Also preceding him in death were his brothers, sisters and daughter-in-law, Susan Santoianni. Art is survived by his loving wife, Virginia (Gilbert) Santoianni; sons, Arthur (Patty), Thomas; grandchildren, Arthur Jr, Justin (Diana), Nathan (Lauren), Gina, Dani; great-grandchildren, Casey, Gia, Bella and Jack and many other extended family and friends. Art is a veteran of WWII having served in the USCG-Merchant Marines. Friends and family may visit from 12- 1 pm on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church followed by a prayer service at 1:00 pm. Art will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Hospice of Dayton, in Art’s memory. Arrangements under the care of Westbrock Funeral Home.
