FANTACI, BARBARA ANN (O'Halloran), age 70 of Kettering passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the Life Care Hospital at Sycamore Hospital with her family at her side. She was preceded in death by her parents: Thomas and Josephine O'Halloran; mother and father-in-law: Shirley Fantaci and Anthony Fantaci and grandson, Zachary John Fantaci. Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, John Anthony Fantaci; daughters: Kimberlee Fantaci and Kristin (Lee) Hilty; sons: Todd (Kimberly) Fantaci and Billy Fantaci; grandchildren: Bridgett Ann, Alexander Skip, Nicholas Todd and Benjamin Tyler Fantaci, Mitchell Lee, Taylor Alyssa and Brett Anthony Hilty; brother, Thomas (Linda) O'Halloran ; her beloved dogs: Dude and Maize and many other relatives and friends. Barbara was a member of Queen of Apostles Church and she retired from the Dayton Daily News she was an avid UD Flyer basketball fan and did not miss a grandchild's sporting event whenever possible. She was especially known for her gentleness, kindness and loving smile. Visitation will be held Monday, November 12th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road, Kettering. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 13th at Queen of Apostles Church, 4435 E. Patterson Road, Beavercreek. Burial will follow Mass at David's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
