Bernadette M. Mitsch

MITSCH, Bernadette M., age 69 of Kettering passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018. She was born on August 21, 1949 in Wheeling, WV to the late, Joseph and Hazel (Falvey) Volpe. She is also preceded in death by her grandson, Matthias Mitsch. Bernadette is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Robert; sons, Patrick (Melanie), Brian (Emily) grandchildren, Joe, Alexina, Evelyn, Grace, Cameron and many dear friends. Bernadette is a graduate of Saint Mary’s College; Notre Dame, Indiana and received a Masters degree from the University of Dayton. She was a teacher and taught 40 years, most of them with the Centerville School system. After her retirement she volunteered with DECA at UD and the Dayton Art Institute. Friends and family may visit from 4-8:00 pm on Monday, September 10, 2018 at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:00 pm on Tuesday, September 11 at St. Charles Borromeo Parish. Bernadette will then be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.
