Betty J. Blair

BLAIR, BETTY J., age 80 passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Blair; parents: Theodore and Janie Daugherty; son, Johnny Hicks; sisters: Dorothy, Mary and Kathleen and brothers: Donald, Doyle, Charles, David, Edmund and Doug. Betty is survived by her daughters: Norma (Gary) Shook, Nancy (Dr. Randall) Townsend and Nina (Gary) Townsend; grandchildren: Angela Shook, Candace (John) Nelson, Lizzie (Zach) Henderson and James Blair; great-grandchildren: Noah and Mary Kathleen Henderson; sister, Jolene (Andy) Hill and brothers: Lendon (Madge) Daugherty and Curt Daugherty. Betty was dedicated to her children and grandchildren and her great-grandchildren were the light of her life. The family would like to thank Dr. John R. Boyle for all of his care and compassion given to Betty for many years. Also a special thanks to her friends and supporters at Bible Baptist Church and her dear friend, Nora Pierce. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 18th from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave., Dayton. Rev. Randall Townsend officiating.
