Betty Kate

KATE, BETTY JANE, age 80 of Centerville, Ohio (born Betty Sommers in Racine, Wisconsin), passed away, Friday, April 17, 2009.She was preceded in death by her brother Frank Sommers and grandson Craig Ponozzo. Betty is survived by her daughter, Cathy Kate, sons: Richard (Shelly) Kate and Geoffrey Kate, sister Rosamond Rockwell, cousin Mortimer Cushman, granddaughter Ashley Kate and grandsons: Timothy Legnini and Dennis Ponozzo and great-grandchildren: Kayley, Antonio and Jack Ponozzo. Betty was an avid gardener and cook and succeeded in passing these traits on to her children. The family wishes to extend its heartfelt thanks to her friend and caregiver, Sheryl Coleman as well as the special folks of Hospice of Dayton. Memorial Service will be held at SouthBrook Christian Church, 9095 Washington Church Road, Miamisburg 45432. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to, Hospice of Dayton.
