Bradley S. Dardaganian passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at the age of 54. Brad was born November 5, 1966, in Dallas, Texas. Brad grew up in Dallas and attended Greenhill School, beginning in third grade, graduating in 1985. He graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Economics. He subsequently attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, earning master’s degrees in Divinity and Counseling Psychology. Brad met his beloved wife, Christa (Nance) in the Boston area. They married in Dallas on April 5, 2002, and have two children, Joshua, and Sarah. Brad loved and was so proud of his family.
Brad was multi-talented. He learned to play multiple instruments and loved taking things apart to figure out how they worked. He enjoyed and had jobs in the technology industry and served as pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Bonham, Texas, and Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church in Kettering, Ohio.
Brad was quite interested in his Armenian heritage and began doing genealogical research several years ago. The family believed that all his grandfather’s relatives had been killed in the Armenian genocide in 1915. However, Brad was delighted to find some Dardaghanian relatives in Lebanon, whom he was able to meet on a mission trip a few years ago. What a joy it was for Brad to see President Biden recognize the mass killing of Armenians as a genocide, just a few days before his passing.
Brad had an infectious smile and a warm and compassionate heart. He was quick witted and was always up for a road trip, especially if it involved seeing live music. Brad was a loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers, and enjoyed an annual vacation with his wife’s family in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina.
Brad is survived by his beloved wife, Christa (Nance) of 19 years and their two teenage children, Joshua Stewart and Sarah Frances, his mother, Judith Dardaganian of Dallas, sisters Kristin Booth (David), Stefani Dardaganian, half-sister Shannon Latimer, step-sister Anne Barker (Scott), his wife’s parents Robert and Sandra Nance and Peggy and Robert Wallace, his wife’s sisters, Amy Richardson (Kent), Danielle Nahon (Jordon) and nieces and nephews, Rachel Oxford, Kailey Winkler (Matt), Theodore Boeke, and Faith Boeke. He is predeceased by his fathers, Stephen Dardaganian and Kenneth Latimer.
A memorial service to celebrate Brad’s life will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Bonham, TX on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 12:30 pm. The service will be streamed using Facebook Live (
