Camilla F. (Grusenmeyer) Schiml

Camilla F. (Grusenmeyer) Schiml, age 87, happily joined her beloved husband of more than 51years, Terence V. Schiml Jr. in Heaven on November 6, 2024. She was born on September 10, 1937, the daughter of Michael and Bertha (Thies) Grusenmeyer.

Camilla was also preceded in death by her brothers, Rober and Carl Grusenmeyer; sister, June Mohr, along with a son-in-law, James Roush.

She leaves behind her children, Karen Roush, Timothy (Karen) Schiml, Barbara (James) Pitstick, Suzanne, Anthony (Kathryn) Schiml and Michelle Schiml; grandchildren, Andrew Schiml, Michael and Matthew Pitstick, Sara, Suzanne, Sophia and Samantha Schiml; great-grandsons, Ryan and Cole Schiml; sisters, Rosina Beachler, Kathleen Marlow and Patricia (Stanley) Shuey, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Camilla will be deeply missed by all who loved and cherished her, including everyone who was lucky enough to enjoy her baking, especially her Tea Rings!

 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 beginning at 10:00am at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 22 Notre Dame Ave., Dayton. Family and friends are invited to gather and visit in the church beginning at 9:00am until the time of mass. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery beside her beloved Terence.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Camilla’s name to Our Lady of the Rosary Church. Donation envelopes will be available at church.
