Carla Richardson

RICHARDSON, CARLA L., age 53, of Oakwood, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 15, 2009, after a courageous battle with liver cancer, during which she never complained or sought pity. She was born June 25, 1956 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Gwen Willis, whom she adored all the days of her life. Also preceded in death by her sister, Connie Zecinski. She is survived by her loving husband, David Richardson, her father, John (Kris) Willis, brother, John (Toni) Willis and sisters: Carol (William) & Cathy (Von) Shrout. Also left to mourn are her four loving children: Lyndsay (Casey) O'Connor, Brandy (R.J.) Weber, Wade & Ethan and a step-son, Bobby Richardson. Grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Jackie, Kiera, & Urijah. Carla will be missed greatly by many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins & in-laws. Carla was an amazingly giving, loving, selfless person. Words cannot adequately describe how much she will be missed and how much joy she brought to all the lives of us who had the good fortune of being part of her life. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 18th from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 NOON at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Dayton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Richardson Family.
