Carmela D'Amico

D'AMICO, CARMELA M., age 91 of Kettering passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emilio D'Amico. Carmela is survived by her children: Maria (Antonio) Manzo, Bruno (Sue) D'Amico and Angelo D'Amico all of Kettering; grandchildren: Mary Manzo (Christopher Morrison), Linda Manzo Koeller, Anthony (Robyn) Manzo, Michael (Jonalyn) D'Amico, Gina (Brian) Minchew and David D'Amico; great-grandchildren: Matthew, Andrea and Kevin Morrison, Lindsay, Sean and Riley Koeller, Tristano, Dominic and Elliana Manzo, Hailey and Kayla Chumley, Madison R., Michael and John D'Amico, Madison P. Minchew, Gage Wilson and Katelyn D'Amico and great-great granddaughter, Elianna Dacus. Carmela worked in the family business D'Amico and Manzo Restaurant for 17 years and her greatest gift was her cooking. She was a great daughter, loving wife, beloved mother and devoted grandmother and will be missed by all. The family would like to thank Dr. Karl Rose for all of his care given to Carmela over the years. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 15th from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road, Kettering followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave, Centerville. Final resting place will be held at Miami Valley Memory Gardens Mausoleum following Mass.
