Casey, Carol Ann (Kisabeth), age 72, of Dayton, OH., formally of Fostoria, OH., passed away on Sunday June 4th, 2017, in Dayton. Carol was a fun loving, caring person who saw the best in everyone. She was a 1962 graduate of Lakota High School in Kansas, OH. She graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1971 with a degree in Home Economics. She taught Home Economics at the Soldiers and Sailors Orphans Home in Xenia, OH., and at Kiser Middle School and Dunbar High School in Dayton. Carol was a member of the Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority in Dayton, and an avid volunteer at Crayons for Classrooms in Dayton. She gave freely of her time and talent to many other organizations including the Girl Scouts as a co-leader; Carroll High School; and most especially to St. Anthony Parish, helping out in so many different ways – always with a smile and a chuckle! Carol became a Catholic in April, 2010. Carol is survived by her three children, Jessica G. Casey, Marcus A. Casey, and Margaret H. Casey all of Dayton, OH. She also has five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of Dayton. She is also survived by her sisters, Pat Otermat (Roger) of Freemont, OH., Kathy Kisabeth of Mineral, VA., as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends Betty and Bob Borgerding. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward E. Kisabeth and Thelma (Wooten) Kisabeth of Fostoria, OH., and a sister, Carolyn M. Kauffman of Ayersville, OH. Friends and family may visit from 10:30 am -11:30am on Monday, June 12 at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave. Dayton. Mass of Christian Burial 12 noon Monday June 12th at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Dayton. A Memorial Service will be held in Fostoria at a future date, followed by interment in Fountain Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Carol’s family requests that expressions take the form of donations in her memory to the American Cancer Society, for liver cancer research.
