Carol Ann Groh

GROH, Carol Ann, age 86 of Kettering, passed away peacefully Monday August 13, 2018. Carol was a member for over 60 years of TRI-Y Sorority, and a founding member of the Ghetto Gang. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bud Groh; a brother, Charles Petty; two sisters, Jeanne Lambert and Margery Howard. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Debbie Groh, Nancy (John) Ruschau; a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen (Roberta) Groh; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy (Jerry) Hickey, Leslie (David) King; three brothers, James, Donald, Philip Petty; and two sisters-in-law, Joni Dorko and Mary Thies; three grandchildren, Stephen Jr. (Lisa) Groh, Emily (Jason) Timmerman, Laura (Jason) Dranschak; four great-grandchildren, Bradley, Matthew, Adalyn Groh and Asher Dranschak. Services will be held 10:00 am Saturday, August 18 at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd., Reverend Robert T. Petty officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 4:00-7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial, Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of Dayton. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
