Carol Louise Nealon, 83, of Dayton, Ohio passed to eternal life on February 17, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. Born March 3, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Frances Hemmert. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Carol Nealon; a son, Joseph John Nealon; a grandson, Daniel Eric Bauder; a son-in-law, Robert Reardon; a brother, Mike Hemmert and a sister-in-law, Sr. Carol Nealon.
Carol’s life was devoted to her family and Catholic faith. She was much loved by her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving is her husband of 62 years, John David Nealon; daughters, Nancy (Mick) Shaughnessy of Edgewood, KY, Patrice (Jim) Hook of Cincinnati, OH, Kathleen (David) Vail of Miamisburg, OH, Therese Reardon of Kettering, OH, Maureen Wald of Hilton Head, SC, Mary (Rob) Bauder of Cincinnati, OH and son John (Jill) of Flower Mound, TX; 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill (Karen) Hemmert of Dayton, OH, and John (Mary Ann) Hemet of New Knoxville, OH; brother-in-laws Dan (M.J.) Nealon of Sacramento, CA and Tim (Cathy) Nealon of Lafollette, TN.
Visitation begins at 9:30 a.m., February 21 at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Kettering, OH until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
