Carol A. (Rykoskey) Culloo

CULLOO (Rykosky), Carol A., age 80 of Centerville, Ohio passed away on Friday, January 27, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born on December 25, 1936 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late, Andrew and Lola (Herr) Kleber. Also preceding her in death are husbands, Joseph B. Culloo and Ron Rykoskey. She is survived by her children, Ron (Maria) Rykoskey, Mike Rykoskey, Mark (Kris) Rykoskey, Karrie Stock; grandchildren, Jake, Luke, and Michael Rykoskey, Matthew and Erik Rykoskey, Philip Stock, Katy and Nicole Land; sister, Kathleen (George) MacIntyre and many other extended family and dear friends. Carol received her Bachelor’s in Education from Duquesne University and went on to receive her Master’s from the University of Dayton. She taught at John F. Kennedy Elementary for 26 years. Carol loved her Pittsburgh Steelers, angels and her Italian Greyhound, Peppy. Friends and family may visit from 4-7 pm on Monday, January 30 at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd. Mass of Christian Burial is 12:30 pm on Tuesday, January 31 at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Carol will then be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the College Promise Program, 40 North Main St. Suite #500, Dayton, Ohio 45423 to support Carol’s passion for education.
