Carol Ann Wilson, 67, of Springboro, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, January 8, at Kettering Hospital.
A memorial service will be held Friday, January 28, at 2 pm, at the Westbrock Funeral Home, Kettering, OH. Pastor Stanton Whitney will officiate.
Carol was born September 8, 1954, in Sunnyvale, California, to Don and Barbara Brandt. She married Steve Gigax in 2020. He survives. She is also survived by her two daughters, Brianna Miller Strahm (Brent) of Postville, IA, and Rachel Miller Lungberg (Adam) of Portland, OR, her twelve grandchildren, Kathryn, Carolyn, Isaac, Naomi, Daniel, Olivia, Rebekah, Abigail, Aaron, Henry, Leah, and Joanna Strahm, one brother, Richard Brandt of Damascas, Oregon. Her parents preceded her in death
Carol lived most of her life in the state of Oregon where her two daughters were born. She worked as a flight attendant for United Airlines for several decades. Her pets (two dogs and a cat) held a special place in her heart.
In recent years, Carol expressed her desire to be at peace with God, to learn the Bible, and to grow in Christ. She was baptized in 2019.
She will be remembered for her friendly, positive, compassionate way of connecting with others. She never knew a stranger. Carol will be deeply missed by her family and those who knew and loved her. The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. Job 1:21
