Carole Anne Marcroft

MARCROFT, Carole Anne, age 78 of Centerville passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018. She was born in Dayton on March 24, 1939 to the late, Charles and Frances (Vollmer) Gress. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth “Ken” Marcroft Lt Col, USAF (retired); children, Terrie (Robert) Holcombe-Butts, Tom (Kelly) Holcombe; step-children, Sabra (Reagan) Marcroft-Clark, Kyle (Mona) Marcroft; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Terrie) Holcombe, Lindsay (Tom) Holcombe, Dana (Tom) Holcombe, Timothy (Lucile) Marlorme, Nova (Kyle) Marcroft, Lapis (Jason) Zahendra-Steffey; great-grandchildren, Colton (Elizabeth), Sophia (Lapis) and many other extended family and friends. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Accounting from WSU in 1977. Carole retired from WPAFB as a buyer with the B-2 System Program Office. She enjoyed Bingo, Bridge, fishing, traveling and spending time with her family. Friends and family may visit from 12:00-1:00 pm on Monday, January 29 at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd. followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm. Carole will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.
