Carolyn "Connie" M. Ostendorf

OSTENDORF, CAROLYN M. “CONNIE,” age 79 of Washington Township passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Joseph A. Ostendorf; sister, Sr. Angela Therese Ballard and brothers: Bob, James and Joe Ballard. She is survived by her loving children: Ken (Teresa) Ostendorf of Beavercreek and David (Deborah) Ostendorf of Xenia; 4 grandchildren: Joey, Emily, Dani and Daysee; sister, Joanne Shaner; brother, Michael (Sue) Ballard; numerous nieces and nephews and loving caretaker, Michael Conley. Connie was graduate of Tippecanoe High School, a longtime parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Church and volunteered at Bethany Lutheran Village and Kettering Medical Center. Visitation will be Monday, July 14th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road, Kettering. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 15th at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd., Kettering. Burial will follow Mass at Calvary Cemetery.
