Carolyn J Wahrer

Wahrer, Carolyn J., (Harmeling) age 82 of Bellbrook passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018. Carolyn was a secretary at WPAFB and retired from Defense Electronic Supply Center (DESC) of Kettering. She was a Bellbrook Girl Scout Leader, very involved with the Children’s Conservation League in Bellbrook, artist/painter and loved Thi Chi. Dedicated wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Harmeling and May (Hussong) Harmeling; her husband, Robert Wahrer and a brother, Gale Harmeling. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sabrina (Terry) Furlow; a son, Scott Wahrer and a sister, Donna Ryne. A big heartfelt thank you to the caregivers who loved and cared for Carolyn. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 13, 2018, 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 310 Allen Street in Dayton. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2018 at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave. in Dayton. Burial, Dayton Memorial Park.
