Catherine "Lucille" Lang

LANG, Catherine “Lucille”, age 102 of Miami Township passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018. She was born on November 18, 1915 in Arcanum, Ohio to the late, Harvey Francis and Margaret Viola (Rice) Ratliff. Also preceding her in death is her husband of 61 years, E. Leroy Lang in 2001 and son, Joseph Lang. She is survived by her children, Jan (Tom) Brinkman, Marti Thurman, Jane (Greg) Koepfer, Marianna (Tom) Keithley, Chris (Judi) Lang, daughter-in-law, Susan Lang; grandchildren, Todd, Cindy, Kim, Kathy, Rob, Katie, Kristie, Shelley, Brian, Amanda, Andrea, Matt, Mike, Donny; 9 great-grandchildren; and many other extended family and friends. Lucille loved golf and playing bridge. She was a member of the Walnut Grove Country Club and the bridge group, The Underbidders. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Walnut Creek Nursing Center and Hospice of Dayton for their wonderful care and support. Friends and family may visit from 2-4pm on Sunday, February 25 at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave., Dayton. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30am on Monday, February 26 at Church of the Immaculate Conception, 2300 S. Smithville Rd., Dayton, 45420. She will then be entombed in Calvary Cemetery.
