Catherine Tate

TATE, Catherine J. Age 91 of Centerville, born March 30, 1918, passed away August 6, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold and her son, Richard. Catherine is survived by a son, John (Miriam) of Westland, MI; a daughter, Dorothy (Charles) Smith of Washington Twp., OH; foster son, Curtis (Sue) Hurson of White Lake, MI. She was a dear grandmother of 9; great grandmother of 18 and great great grandmother of 2. Catherine served as a volunteer for 12 years at Southview Hospital and donated many hours to the hospital craft club. Viewing will be held Sunday August 9 from 1:00-3:00 PM at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd. with services at 3:00 PM Sunday, Rev. Jim Hopkins officiating. Graveside services to be held at Acacia Park Cemetery, Birmingham, MI, Monday at 10:00 AM.
