KOCEVAR, Chad Allen, age 47 of Centerville passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Margaret and Edward Sickels, and his paternal grandparents, Edward and Sarah Kocevar. He is survived by his son, Peyton Kocevar of Centerville; his parents, Richard and Sharon Kocevar of West Milton; his brother and sister-in-law, Joshua and Angela Kocevar; nephews, Logan and Kameron Kocevar, all of Tipp City; uncle, Robert Kocevar of Cleveland and many close friends. He graduated from Tiffin University and was a proud brother of Sigma Omega Sigma. Chad will be remembered for his love of family, his culinary skills, his affinity for all things related to the Ohio State Buckeyes and Nascar racing. But most of all, he will be remembered for his jovial spirit, laughter and the courage he showed over the last few years as his health deteriorated. Friends and family may visit from 4-7 pm on Monday, February 29 at The Westbrock Funeral Home, Bigger Rd. A celebration of Chad’s life will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church at 10:30 am on Tuesday, March 1 with Fr. Jim Manning presiding. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), in memory of Chad.
