Charles J. Brun Sr.

BRUN, Sr., Charles J. age 91, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna V. Brun; parents: Louis and Edith Brun; twin children: Charlene and Charles Brun and brothers: Lawrence, Clarence, Jerome, William and Walter Brun. Charles is survived by his children: Charlene A. (Richard) Schock, Cathy J. (Joseph) McGeehan, Charles J., Jr. (Diane) Brun and Philip L. (Joyce) Brun; 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; sister, Rita Heider; brothers: Raymond, George (Rosemary) and Edward Brun; sisters-in-law: Lois, Ella and Barbara Brun and brother-in-law Philip E. Longo; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends both in Dayton and Florida . Charles was a WWII Veteran, President of Viking Tool and Die Co., Past-President of Dayton NTMA, a founding member of St. Helen and St. Luke Catholic Churches, was the original treasurer of St. Luke Credit Union, and he experienced the Honor Flight in 2012. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 4th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road, Kettering. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 5th at Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave, Centerville. Burial will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery.
