Charles Higgins

Higgins, Charles E., "Bud", age 88, of Dayton, passed away Monday September 1, 2008. Mr. Higgins was a retired employee from General Motors; a parishioner of Holy Angels Church, and a member of The Aces Club. Bud is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Loretta J. Higgins; a daughter, Janet (Dan) Wolodkiewicz; a son, James Higgins; three grandsons, Ben, Brad, Alex Wolodkiewicz; two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Sienna Wolodkiewicz; a brother, Jack Higgins; a former daughter-in-law, Heidi Higgins; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his three sisters, Ruth Hocfbaum, Betty Ann Walkinshaw and Eileen Freiberger. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00am Thursday at Holy Angels Church. Burial Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 9:15am - 10:00am at the Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton. Arrangements by The Westbrock Funeral Home.
