Kinzig, Charles Victor, age 94, of Kettering, Ohio passed away on January 4, 2014. Born in Dayton, Ohio, son of the late Charles Michael Kinzig and Elizabeth (Isabelle) Nann, and loving husband to the late Elizabeth Jane Toohey, Charles graduated from Chaminade High School and served in the U.S. Air Force in the Pacific Theater during the Second World War. Following the war, he returned to work at American Sales, Inc., a wholesale distributor of appliances where he retired as President in 1977. During his life, he was an avid tennis player and golfer. He was also a wonderful and caring father and grandfather and will be missed by many. He is survived by three sons, Charles, James and Robert; two daughters, Mary Anne Lewis and Susan Kinzig, their spouses and thirteen grandchildren. Viewing will be Friday, January 10th from 4-8pm at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road in Kettering. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, January 11th, at 10:30am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd, Kettering.
