Unterburger, Charlotte, age 72, of Kettering, passed away Sunday morning April 29, 2012 in her sleep, losing her valiant battle with cancer. She was an employee of the City of Dayton for 31 ½ years. After her retirement from the city, she became the secretary for the "Ohio Public Employee Retirement System." Charlotte was a member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, and she very much enjoyed her gardening and flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Unterburger. She was a proud and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother of her surviving family members, daughters, Carla Marie Walkup, Jacqueline Ann Klumb (fiancée, Richard Phipps, Jr.); three grandchildren, Corey Adam Leggett (wife, Robyn Leggett), Matthew Allen Walkup, Jessica Ann Klumb; three great-grandchildren, Chase Allen Walkup, Mason Milton Leggett, and Carter Adam Leggett. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 noon on Wednesday at St. Albert the Great Church. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11-11:50am at the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton. Charlotte wrote, "Thanks everyone at Hospice of Dayton and all care givers that helped in my care over the last year."
