Clara Weisman

WEISMAN, CLARA J., age 83 of Dayton passed away, Sunday, June 24, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wando and Blanche Rohr. Clara is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Thomas Weisman, daughter, Vicki (Randy) Powell, sons: Paul (Angela), Bill (Debbie), Larry (Jamie) and Andy (Heather) Weisman, grandchildren: Scott and Steve (Tara) Powell, Vanessa, Jonathan and Anthea Weisman, Kevin (Jill) and Mike Weisman, Ben, Lindsey, Matt and Christian Weisman and Anna, Megan and Tim Weisman, great-grandchildren: Emily, Olivia and Lucas and dear friend, Brenda Cornwell. Clara was a graduate of Holy Trinity Grade School, Julienne High School and The University of Dayton. She taught for 2 years at St. Mary's in Dayton and Our Lady of Good Hope School in Miamisburg. She served 2 years as President of the Ladies Auxiliary Knights of Columbus Council 3730. She loved to fly and watching soap operas and the biggest part of her life were her grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 27th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave, Dayton. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 28th at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Dayton. Burial will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to, Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
