Darlene DiPasquale Westbrock, 73, passed away on April 20, 2016, in Valrico, Florida. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on October 13, 1942. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Virginia DiPasquale. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Gerald Westbrock of Valrico, Florida, son Michael Westbrock and daughter in law Amy Westbrock of Tulsa, Oklahoma, son Tony Westbrock and daughter in law Denise Westbrock of Riverview, Florida and grandchildren Shane, Megan, Keely, Trent, Tyler, Thomas, Caitlyn and Madeline Kate. She is also survived by brothers in law and sisters in law William and Marlyn Westbrock of Marietta, Georgia, and Dr. David and Judy Westbrock of Centerville, Ohio, as well as her uncle, Cosmo DiPasquale, Dayton, Ohio; aunt, Mary DiPasquale and numerous beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. A 1960 graduate of St. Joseph’s High School in Dayton and the University of Dayton in 1964, Darlene was honored in 1961 as Miss Greater Dayton, Miss Ohio and eventually as a participant in the Miss America Pageant. Darlene was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Valrico, Florida, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and as a former member of the Parish Council. She will be remembered for her inner strength, her devotion to her family and her selfless concern for others. Memorial mass to be held at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Darlene’s name to Life Path Hospice, 3010 W.
