David Paul Depp

DAVID PAUL “DAVE” DEPP, age 81, of Centerville, passed away on December 15, 2024. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on July 2, 1943, the son of George and Rosemary (Diel) Depp.

Dave proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserve and was a graduate of Washington & Jefferson College in Pennsylvania. Following his graduation, Dave held management roles at Foodland and Kroger in Pennsylvania, before relocating to Ohio with his beloved wife, Lois. Prior to his retirement, Dave served as an administrator for several nursing and MRDD homes in the Dayton area. Together with his wife, they owned and operated three clothing consignment shops in the Dayton area. Dave was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, especially the Steelers, Penguins and Pirates! He was a faithful member of Church of the Incarnation in Centerville. In his free time, Dave enjoyed golfing and loved cruising the seas and traveling the world with Lois. Above all, time spent with his family meant the most to Dave, especially with his grandchildren, of whom he was incredibly proud.

Dave leaves behind his beloved wife of 56 years, Lois (Goritz) Depp; children, Kristin (Jeffrey) Braun and Stephen (Kathryn) Depp; grandchildren, Alec, Zach, Eric, Tess, Marielle and Julianne; siblings, Don (Diane) and Pat Depp, along with several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Noelle. 

Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 10-11 a.m. in the WESTBROCK FUNERAL HOME- KETTERING, 5980 Bigger Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at noon in the Church of the Incarnation, 55 Williamsburg Lane. Burial will be in the Kerr Cemetery, Loveland.
