Della R. Konicki

KONICKI, Della R., age 83 passed away on January 11, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Nancy Taylor Nickell; brother, Arnold and his wife, Betty Nickell; sister, Jenny and her husband, Kenneth Roberts; half-brother, Glenn Willhoite; 2 half-sisters, Edith Dawson and Louise Spivey; 3 nephews, Glenn Darrell Wilhoite, George Spivey and Dean Nickell. Della is survived by her husband, Stan Konicki of 64 years; son, Karl and his wife, Marcia Konicki and their 3 children, Paul and his wife, Kristina Konicki, Brandy and her husband, Jason Frost, Amber and her husband, Kaan Gokay and their son, Kral; son, Kurt and his wife, Kimberly Konicki and their children, Kyle and Tara Konicki; their daughter, Mila Konicki and Kraig Konicki; daughter, Kim and her husband Todd Wallace and their daughters, Lauren Wallace and her daughter, Isabella Wallace and Samantha Wallace; 1 nephew, Greg and his wife, Paulette Nickell; 2 nieces, Sherri Oxner and Lisa and her husband, Mike Heitzman and many more close family and friends. Della worked at Kroger’s for 36 years, retiring at age 54 then worked with Miami Valley Hospital for 11 years, retiring at age 65. The family will receive friends from 12pm-1:30 pm on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave. in Dayton followed by the funeral service at 1:30 pm. Calvary Cemetery will serve as Della’s final resting place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Rosary Catholic Church.
