Dolores L. Berger

BERGER, Dolores L., age 94, of Dayton, Ohio passed away Aug. 29, 2015 at Brookdale Place of Oakwood. She attended Patterson Cooperative High School. Dolores was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church and a past scout leader. She loved playing cards, square dancing, and golf. She was a dedicated mother and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Cletus Berger, and her brother, Joseph Fischer. Dolores is survived by her children Nancy Hayes, Enterprise, Alabama; Roy Berger, Dayton, Ohio; Doug Berger, Kettering, Ohio and Mary Tompkins, Riverside, Ohio; grandchildren, Amy Hall, Wade Hayes, Michael Berger, Laura Berger, Nick Berger, Alaric Berger, James Tompkins, Ashley Kucera; Alexis Tompkins; and 8 great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 10:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Kettering. Inurnment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 am Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association. Westbrock Funeral Home is serving the family.
