Don Schamel,

SCHAMEL, DON JR. "BUTCH", age 52, passed away Sunday, February 22,2009 due to heart failure. Don was born in Dayton, Ohio on February 20, 1957. He graduated from St. Albert the Great School, Alter High School and attended Wright State University. Don is survived by his parents, Don and Peggy Schamel; grandmother Rosalia Clark; sisters, Lorie (John) Henderson and Cathy (Mike) Crotty; nieces, Jenni Martin and Danielle Crotty; nephews, Joe Martin and Sean Crotty; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Don was a man of kindness, courage and good humor. He will be missed by his family. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, February 27, 2009 at 12:00 Noon at St. Albert the Great Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association. Westbrock Funeral Home handling arrangements.
