Donald iskell

DRISKELL, Donald H. Born December 26, 1934 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Preceded in death by Parents, Harry and Loretta Driskell. Survived by Adele Driskell, wife of 54 years; Daughter, Michelle Fogarty (CJ); Son, Daniel Driskell (Shannon); Grandchildren Claire, Anne and Keara Fogarty and Luke and Grant Driskell. A 1953 Graduate from Withrow High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. Don's love of sports began in high school as he was a varsity letterman in football, basketball and baseball and was an active participant on the 1952 state championship runner-up basketball team. He attended Ohio University and was a member of the varsity football and baseball teams. He enlisted in the US Army and is a 1959 graduate of the University of Cincinnati School of Business. Don resided in Bellbrook for 41 years and was an active member of the Bellbrook Athletic Boosters and Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Educational Foundation. He was a long time member of Epiphany Lutheran Church in Centerville, Ohio where his passion was teaching Sunday School, especially reaching out to high school students. He was also very active in the Dayton insurance network as a past president of the Independent Insurance Agents Association of Dayton and as an instructor of insurance of courses offered by Wright State University. Don retired as owner of Baldwin & Whitney Insurance Agency in 2004 after a long and distinguished career in the insurance industry. The family will receive friends and family Sunday, September 25, 2p-6p at Westbrock Funeral Home-5980 Bigger Road Kettering, OH 45440. Services will be held Monday, September 26, 11am at Epiphany Lutheran Church--- 6430 Far Hills Ave. Centerville, OH 45459. Internment will be held at Bellbrook Cemetery following service.
