Donald Edmund Parrott

Parrott, Donald Edmund, Age 73, of Kettering, Ohio.
With heavy hearts we said goodbye to Don, beloved husband, father and grandfather, on Thursday, April 16, 2015 after a hard fought, courageous battle against cancer. Born January 18, 1942 in East St. Louis IL, he was preceded in death by his parents, Donald & Jessie Parrott. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years Jeri; children Scott (Heather) Parrott, Stacy (Lanny) Wineland, Tara Saunders-Frank, and Brooke (Mark) Cady; Grandchildren Kristina Krug, Ryan Krug, Samantha Parrott, Evan Parrott, Jackson Frank, Alec Cady & baby Cady on the way; Sister Robin Rubin; In-laws Joanne Carman & Jerry Skinner; best of friends Ron & Bev Faul; and snuggling buddy Yankee Doodle. He graduated from Patterson Co-op High School in 1960 & enjoyed a long career in mortgage banking. Don’s favorite hobby was golfing with his buddies. He even achieved the elusive hole-in-one three times! Don also enjoyed cruising along the Ohio River on his boat, but he was happiest being with his family and friends.
