Donald Eugene Wright

WRIGHT, Donald Eugene passed away on February 24, 2020 with his daughters, Helen and Donna by his side. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley in 2017 after 63 years of marriage. He was preceded in death by his parents, Loren and Helen Wright; sister, Rosemary Bowles and brothers, Charles Wright and Robert Wright. He is survived by his loving daughters, Helen Wright and Donna Simon along with 2 grandsons, Cody (MJ) and Dustin. He is survived by 2 sisters, Catherine Simons and Patty (Vy) Matulinous and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by 2 close friends, Lou Bruns and Bob Fletcher. He was born on June 21, 1927 in Xenia, Ohio and served one year in the US Navy and worked at Frigidaire and GM for 47 years, retiring in 1994. Friends and family may visit from 2-5pm on Sunday, March 1 at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave., Dayton. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am Monday at Immaculate Conception Church followed by interment in Calvary Cemetery.
