Dorothy "Jane" Beerck

BEERCK, Dorothy "Jane", age 85 of Dayton passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016. She was born on April 24, 1931 in Dayton to the late, Robert and Frances (Walters) Douglas. Also preceding her in death is her husband, Robert A. Beerck and several siblings. Jane is survived by her children, Joan Hartshorn, Doug (Renee) Beerck, Daniel (Mary Pat) Beerck, Bob (Dinah) Beerck; 9 grandchildren and many extended family members. Jane graduated from Kiser High School in 1949 and graduated from UD in 1954. She worked as a registered nurse for over 30 years as an educator for St. Elizabeth’s Hospital until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling, yardwork, gardening and playing with her grandkids. Friends and family may visit from 12pm-1pm on Friday, July 1st at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd, Kettering, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm. Interment following at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assoc. or Heartland Hospice, in memory of Jane.
