OTT, Colletta E. (Braun) age 97, of Kettering, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday January 17, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Justina Fullenkamp Braun, her brothers Vincent, Arthur, Lawrence Braun and her sisters Marie Grieshop, Martina Schaefer of Coldwater, Ohio. Survived by one sister Alvina Kanney of Coldwater Ohio, sisters in law Roseaun Braun of St. Henry Ohio, Loretta Braun of Centerville, Ohio. She was married to Charles L. Ott for 50 years and he passed away in 1984. They operated meat stands in the Main St. and Wayne Ave. Market Houses in Dayton Ohio during 1940 and 1950 years. They moved to Minnesota and then to Florida and operated many different business the next 20 years. She worked along side her husband every day during their 50 years of marriage. She is survived by three children Mary E. Carr Kissell, her husband William of Kettering, Ohio, her son Charles L. Ott Jr. and his wife Sharon of Germantown, Tn and our devoted Sister Marie Charlette of the Holy Family O.Carm. 50 years in the Carmelite Monastery in Allentown Pa. She has 13 grandchildren Ron & Jane Carr of Gulf Breeze, Fl. Chris and Maureen Carr of Darien, Ill. Jeff and Gwen Carr of Kettering Oh., Jim and Kathy Carr of Jamestown, Oh, Therese Butler of Ft Wayne, In., Kathy and Art Daws of Nashville, Tn., Karen Ott Mayer of Como, Ms., Charles Douglas Ott and Stephanie of Soddy Daisy, Tn, Jimmy and Jenny Cremarius of Lads, In., Bev and Larry Rose of Bellbrook, Oh, Paula and Gary Gann of New Port Richey, Fl., Mary Kay and Steve Rike of Kettering, Oh, and Bill and Karen Kissell of Loveland, Oh. 31 Great grandchildren, 16 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces , nephews and other family and special friends The family thanks granddaughter Karen Ott Mayer and Hospice for their special care. The family will hold a viewing, Friday, January 23rd at Westbrock Funeral Home 5980 Bigger Rd Kettering, Oh. 45440, 9:30 - 11 3033 Far Hills Ave. Kettering, Oh 45429. Mass of Christian Burial 12 Noon Friday, at St. Albert the Great Church, followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery.
