Age 92 of Centerville, Ohio. Eddie passed away peacefully on Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 26, 2020. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ann; daughter Maureen Graham; stepson Bill Otto; parents, Edward Sr. and Gertrude (Pohrer) Graham; brothers, Bob and Tom Graham; as well as the mother of his six children, Betty Ann. He is survived by children Rikki (Dale) Gessaman, Tim Graham, Sue DeBord (Larry Laymon), Mike Graham, Dan (Lynn) Graham, Pat (Karen) Graham, and Mary Lynn (Gary) Plageman. In his final decade of life, Eddie was blessed to love and be loved by Velma Mayl, who also survives him. He is likewise survived by his grandchildren Jessica (David) Lawrence, Danielle Graham and Joey Graham; Ryan, Christopher and Alec Graham; Maggie (Patrick) Cash and Ian Graham; Graham and Mollie Plageman; and Kendrick Otto. Additional survivors include great-grandson Noah and twin great-granddaughters Natalie and Rileigh. Eddie was born and raised in St. Louis, where he graduated from St. Louis University High School. He had a shot at a professional baseball career, but duty called. He entered the military draft, proudly serving in the Pacific during World War II. After the war, he took advantage of the GI Bill, graduating from St. Louis University and ultimately landing in Dayton in 1964 with Frigidaire, where he spent his entire 37-year professional career. During his long life, Eddie loved to play golf and take part in VFW activities. He also spent 20 years as a hospice volunteer. Eddie’s family sends a warm thank you to Hospice of Dayton, a true godsend. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Monday (Nov. 30) at St. Charles Borromeo Church, with burial immediately following at Calvary Cemetery.
