Eileen J.

COX, EILEEN J. (Buzzell), a 35 year resident of Centerville and most recently of Miami Township and Hilton Head Island, SC, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at the age of 65. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Buzzell and her companion, Beau. Eileen is survived by her mother, Betty Buzzell, her loving husband of 43 years, Marty Cox, children: Sean (Tanya) Cox, Todd (Jenni) Cox and Melissa (Greg) Beck, grandchildren: Bailey, Olivia, Ian, and Sam Cox, William and Michael Sechrist, Christy and Mitchell Beck. She is also survived by a brother, Glen (Marilyn) Buzzell, companion, Chloe and numerous nieces and nephews. Eileen graduated from Springfield High School in 1962 and then from Springfield Community Hospital School of Nursing in 1966 as a Registered Nurse. She worked as an RN for several years at Snowhill Nursing Home in Springfield and for several Doctors in Yellow Springs. Eileen enjoyed gardening, reading mystery novels, spent many hours watching College and Professional Football and Basketball, but her greatest love was her three children, grandchildren and many friends from soccer and her neighborhood. Visitation will be Sunday, October 17th from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road, Kettering 45440. Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 18th at Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave, Centerville. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or The American Cancer Society.
