Eileen K. Richardson

Richardson, Eileen K., (Kress), age 93 passed away peacefully at Walnut Creek Nursing Home on July 6, 2016. She was born on June 6, 1923 in Dayton, OH. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Richardson, Sr.; her parents, Clarence and Margaret Kress; three sisters, Louise House, Lillian Kniez and Virginia Zurlinden. She is survived by her sister, Marilyn (Bing) Crosby, a brother, Ronald (Judy) Kress; many nieces and nephews. She was employed at WPAFB and in her early career she had many assignments overseas. Following retirement she served as President and Treasurer of the Flower Trail Gardens Club of Beavercreek and was involved in many horticultural organizations. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Viewing will be held at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave Monday, July 11 from 5:00-8:00 pm. Prayers will be held at the Westbrock Funeral Home at 10:00 am, July 12 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 am at St. Mary’s Church on Xenia Ave. Burial, Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
